Hydro-Jetting and Drains
Unclog your drains with a blast or a snake. We’re experts at hydro-jetting sludge or roots that may be growing in your pipe using highly-pressurized water to get things flowing and stop future issues. Some pipes respond better to “snaking,” and our experts will determine the cleaning option that’s best for you.
What Causes Blockages?
Blockages can occur when foreign objects are flushed down the toilet, (such as: “Flushable wipes”, baby wipes, sanitary pads or tampons, kitty litter, paper towels, etc.) or when grease, oil, soap, and hair are washed down the drain. And many times, blockages are caused by root intrusion from trees on the property. All of which gather inside the pipe and act as precursors to nasty, recurring sewer clogs.
Regardless of the type of blockage you may be experiencing, SoCal Sewer and Water has the know-how and the manpower to get your sewer system back on track and running smoothly.
Maintenance Plans
Build ups / Blockages might be inevitable but with the right maintenance plan SoCal Sewer and Water will help stay on top of it. We offer maintenance plans for homeowners, business owners, and property management companies alike. Whether you manage residential or commercial properties we have plans to suit your needs.

Sewer System Repair
Why Your Sewer System Is Important
Having an adequate sewer system isn’t just a necessity, it’s a responsibility! Adequately-running sewer systems play vital roles in disease prevention and sanitation.
Here Are A Few Tell-Tale Signs Your Sewer Is In Need Of Service Or Repair:
- Bad Odor
Sanitary sewers will be air-tight (with the exception of vent stacks). If you’re experiencing any sewer odors, there could be a crack or clog somewhere in the line.
- Faulty Draining
If your drain slows, this is a sign that a blockage has started to accumulate, leading to larger clogs and sewage backups. If your sink, bathtub, or toilet takes a while to drain, it’s important to address the issue in its early stages.
- Soggy Spots on the Lawn
Undetected leaks in the sewer line will start to yield soggy, raised patches in the yard. This comes as a result of water gathering underneath the lawn surface.
- Septic Waste Pools
This one is undeniable. A broken sewer pipe will result in septic wastewater pools forming in the yard. This could be a broken main line, broken septic tank, or even a clogged drain field.
A broken sewer line is something you don’t want to experience. But it happens.
Trenchless Sewer Repair
You take pride in your landscaping, and our innovative trenchless sewer repair is a simple way to keep your lawn intact while fixing your sewer system. Plus, it saves you money! Give us a call and we’ll inspect your situation to see if trenchless is right for you.
Why Should I Consider Trenchless Sewer Repair?
Trenchless technology gives us the ability to aptly repair and address (or even completely replace) your sewer pipes without doing any major damage to your landscaping.
There Are 2 Popular Trenchless Plumbing Repair Solutions
Pipe Bursting — Involves destroying old, damaged piping, then replacing it with completely new material. We use a steel bursting head, inserting it into the pipeline at an entry point. We then run a chain from the head to a targeted exit point.
Once we have the bursting head in place, we use it to fracture the old, damaged piping. We attach new pipes to the back of the bursting head. This immediately replaces old, busted piping as the bursting head travels through. Pretty neat and best of all, no major damage to landscaping.
Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining — This method reinforces the existing pipe, repairing gaps, cracks, or other kinds of faults by treating with an epoxy-coated liner, coating it into the existing pipe. This lining cures to the walls of the pipe. To put it simply, it’s like putting a brand-new pipe inside of the old existing pipe.
Trenchless Sewer Repair Benefits
One of the clear and undeniable benefits of trenchless sewer repair is less lawn and landscape damage. We know that many homeowners take a lot of pride in their lawn and landscaping, which is why we’re pleased to offer this innovative service.
Trenchless sewer repair is less cumbersome work for us and less of an expense for you. We enjoy the simple trenchless sewer repair process, which results in less labor-intensive work, less manpower, and we get to pass the savings on down to you!
Sometimes Trench-Based Repair Is Unavoidable
A sad fact of life is that traditional sewer repair will be required in certain scenarios — if large segments of your sewer line are in need of complete replacement, for instance.
We’ll come out and inspect your situation and figure out the most effective and conservative way to fix your sewer system problems.
Sewer Video Inspections
Cutting-Edge Technology
SoCal Sewer and Water utilizes cutting edge technology. We practice both tried-and-true methods as well as the newest tricks and techniques to get your sewer system up and running again. We use live camera footage to detect problem areas of your sewer line.
SoCal Sewer and Water incorporates sewer video inspection technology, which gives us an advantage in diagnosing problems of various degrees.
What’s that mean for you?
Camera inspection helps us better identify plumbing problems while cutting out unreliable guesswork. A vast majority of your plumbing system is hidden from view — much of it can be difficult or near impossible to inspect without heavy machinery or digging up your lawn.
We utilize a waterproof video camera that can give us a clear view of your sewer system from inside the sewer line itself. No more taking apart fixtures, pipes, or worse — just to get a proper diagnosis.
Sewer Video Inspection Benefits:
- Accuracy
Check out your home’s sewer lines or a home you’re interested in purchasing with 100% accuracy. The video doesn’t lie. We’ll get an accurate snapshot of the situation, plumbing condition, and be able to successfully diagnose any problems.
- No Getting Our Hands Dirty
Which means, with camera sewer inspection, we don’t have to cut into your walls, taking fixtures apart, or digging trenches in your well-manicured lawn. Our video sewer inspection services are non-invasive.
- It’s Preventive
It’s far better to identify the problem before it gets worse and creates an undeniable situation that can result in backups, leaks, or flooding.
Our sewer cameras help identify the issues before they become bigger. Don’t let the situation spiral out of control.
Sewer video inspection also results in savings! Utilizing our sewer video inspection services can also save you thousands in expensive repairs and replacements down the road by identifying problems in their early stages.

Rooter Services
What Is Rooter Service?
The term “rooter service” refers to the use of various tools and equipment, such as a rooter, to perform plumbing repairs, both commercial and residential. A rooter, on the other hand, is a specialized plumbing machine that bursts through and thoroughly clears out unreachable debris from drains and sewer lines.
Rooter repairs include the unclogging of drains and sewer lines, as mentioned above, but also refers to the removal of tree roots that have grown into cracks and gaps in your water pipe system, thus the origin of the word “rooter”.
Having trees on your property is great; trees are beautiful, they provide shade, and they clean the air. However, they are also part of nature and often times damage underground pipes.
Tree roots are efficient natural machines for seeking out water in the soil. This means that sewer lines and drains are tempting reservoirs. Although sewer pipes are strong, thick, and durable- especially if they’re made of metal- over time, corrosion can cause cracks that roots can slip through and widen.
The problem is not the water that the root is absorbing. Rather, it is the blockage that the root can cause, which can then affect every drain in your home. Tree roots are difficult or impossible for most property owners to remove on their own without professional help. That’s where SoCal Sewer and Waters’ best rooter service comes in.
How Often Do I Need Rooter Service?
To ensure that there is little-to-no-damage to your property’s sewer lines, our customers have found that calling our 24/7 on-cal team of rooter experts to perform specialized rooter services once a year is best.
